The lobby is truly impressive. We are at the Pan Pacific, Hotel in Kuala Lumpur airport that houses all the MotoGP teams. It 'a nine-story hotel, the last is the "Club Floor" and the one where they stay the regular drivers.

The lift has an electronic key that allows access only to the guests and only with regard to the level of their room, so fans of Valentino Rossi, if you want to waylay you must book the ninth!

At that level, however, there is another lobby which is staged in the morning for breakfast and the afternoon serves as the office for guests, complete with wireless Internet access.

Pilots are coming in twos and threes, while all teams are already in the circuit to prepare the horses for tomorrow.
